Cardiff Metropolitain University has a new VLE from September.
Moodle is coming!
From the start of academic year 15/16 Moodle will replace Blackboard as Cardiff Metropolitan University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
If you use Blackboard now, you will switch to using Moodle from September 2015.
Blackboard will be available for you to download content until December 2015. When blackboard is switched off you will no longer be able to access your account - so make sure to download any content you may need before this date!

As part of a VLE review in 2011-2012 students and staff were surveyed on what they wanted to get out of their virtual learning environment. From the feedback received, a number of options were investigated and Moodle came out on top as the VLE to best suit the needs of students and staff at Cardiff Met.
