SU Good Practice Highlighted by QAA

Your Students' Union was praised in the recent QAA review for the work we've been doing with collaborative partners. Find out more about what we've been doing and plans for the future...

Every 6 years all universities are reviewed by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). Last year was Cardiff Met's turn.

The final report for the review has just been released and we're very happy to announce that the University met the UK expectations for all areas reviewed.

Even better than that, 3 areas of good practice were highlighted with one linking to the Students' Union!

The university has collaborative partners throughout Wales, in London and across the world where students are studying Cardiff Met degrees.

Over the last few years the Students' Union has been working to engage these students through visits to campuses, creating lines of communication and by inviting student representatives to a training event in Cardiff. As a result the SU was recognised for the efforts to enhance the quality of representation for partner students.

Building on this good practice we now have a dedicated member of staff to work with partners who will be planning more visits, events and opportunities.

Keep an eye on our website and social media to find out how you can get involved.
