On Thursday 19th March in Zen Bar, Cardiff Met Students’ Union hosted our first ever Student Experience Awards, honouring our reps and societies achievements.

It was a fabulous evening and was great to get student reps and society committee members together to celebrate what they contribute to the student experience. Attendees were treated to a 3 course meal and some pre-awards entertainment came from Emma Winter, School Rep for Education who sang for everyone.

During the night, we honoured student representatives, recognising the hard work and effort that the representation structure puts into the Students' Union and University life.

We also gave out society awards for the first time. The SU believes that societies play a vital role in university life as they can broaden the personal development of students and enrich the student experience.
