"From the first time I met Sally, I knew she was a cut above the rest. Her knowledge of people and what makes them tick is extraordinary and she was able to get the best out of the team and make impact almost immediately. Her delivery style is warm, diplomatic and inspirational; Sally is a very motivational trainer, who I would highly recommend.

DR JO SOLDAN

“It was brilliant! Highly recommended. I think this would be very good as a compulsory introduction for students. Learn how to deal with stresses before they begin”

- Former Student attending Workshop

Jo Soldan is a Clinical Psychologist who trained in Wales and has worked in health care for over 20 years. Jo has worked in physical health settings with people facing extreme life situations.  This led to an interest in the growing research on positive psychology and resilience and how to build resilience in both patients and staff. More recently Jo has been living and working in New Zealand focusing on ways of building the resilience of Health Care staff to the work that they do.

Jo is a trained Mindfulness Teacher and integrates this into her resilience work. Jo’s work with healthcare staff in New Zealand was a finalist in the New Zealand HR awards in 2016 (see Mindfulness Based Resilience At Work).

Jo is passionate about sharing evidence-based interventions to help people build resilience to the challenges they face, whether that be patients with spinal injuries, junior Drs facing difficult situations/ their first night shift or students and workers facing work strains. After years of working clinically in this area Jo has presented her work and research on resilience and mindfulness at a number of international conferences.
