Details

'Diffusion: Cardiff International Festival of Photography is a biennial month-long international festival of photography taking place in Cardiff, Wales' capital city. The festival is initiated and delivered by Ffotogallery in collaboration with a wide range of local, national and international partners and supporters.

Diffusion 2017 looks at ‘revolution’ in its widest context, investigating moments of social change, movements around freedom of expression, the pursuit of utopias, human rights and identity.

The success of the previous editions of the festival would not have been possible without the help and support of volunteers, so we are looking for enthusiastic people who are willing to give up their time and expertise to help plan and deliver this year’s festival.

We have several volunteer areas to get involved in:

• Festival live guiding.
• Installation/de-installation.
• Photography/ filming/editing.
• Learning and participation.
• Event management and coordination.
• Translation

In return for your time, Ffotogallery will provide training and support in the form of professional portfolio sessions, socials and networking events, and work experience.

There are no specific requirements for volunteering beside a passion for contemporary photography and keenness to volunteer.
