Details

Wellbeing is a key area for development for both the SU and University and we’re looking for a passionate student to help us to drive change and implement new initiatives. As a part of the team of Part Time Officers you will draw on your own interests and knowledge to play a key part in shaping the important changes being made.

The Wellbeing Officer will be responsible for supporting the SUs work towards the Time to Change Wales pledge and representing the student voice on issues relating to wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • You will play a key role in the Students’ Unions work around mental health, supporting staff to fulfil the Time to Change Wales Action Plan and to raise awareness amongst students using your initiative to bring fresh ideas to the projects

 

  • By building on positive working relationships with Student Services you will enhance channels of communication and feedback between students, the department and the SU

 

  • Form positive working relationships with student representatives making effective use of the student rep structure to ensure all students are represented and well informed on issues relating to health and wellbeing
