Please note the successful candidate will not hold employee status with the Students' Union but will receive a bursary as award for undertaking this representative position. Bursary TBC

With student life being about so much more than just your studies we’re looking for an enthusiastic and engaging student who can make a real impact on the student experience and make a positive contribution to the Students’ Union. The successful candidate will work with students and student groups to support them in setting up and running successful events.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • You will support students, either as individuals or in societies/clubs,  to effectively plan and run student activities including social events and sports opportunities

 

  • Form positive working relationships with student representatives making effective use of the student rep structure to ensure all students are represented and well informed on issues relating to societies and social activities

 

  • You will bring creative ideas to support SU staff in promoting existing student events and activities, raising awareness and growing engagement levels
