Details
The Children’s Society works with 10-18 year olds in England to break the cycle of disadvantage that they face. Through campaigning and policy lobbying, and services around the country we target the issues of criminal/sexual exploitation, poor mental health, drug and alcohol misuse, poverty, abuse and we support runaways, young carers and refugees.
You can help us make important changes for young people in the UK by taking on a challenge or event with us, recruiting a team and fundraising. The challenge could be a Skydive, Budapest or Bilbao Marathon, or Three Peaks, Everest Base Camp, Machu Picchu, or Morocco trek. We are also happy to discuss another challenge or smaller event plans!
There are many skills and training a leader can gain to help you stand out in an ever-crowded job market, as well as extra opportunities to volunteer for The Children’s Society.
It is our vision to have a country where children are free from disadvantage.
