As a part of Global Week, the Afro Caribbean Society’s contribution to the week’s events was to hold a Salsa night in Zen bar on 1st March. The event had an objective to promote the integration of different cultures in our University and to create a night full of good fun and laughter.
We had two highly skilled dance instructors from Shappelles Dance Functions carry out a 2 hour interactive dance class for people of all abilities. The night was a huge success attracting approximately 30 students throughout the course of the event.
The dance instructors and students enjoyed the event and there will hopefully be more events to come!
