Pinnacle Campus Sport had a festive week with two events taking place on the Wednesday. The day started with the Schools Versus Dodgeball Tournament, which included all 5 of the Cardiff Met Schools (Art & Design, Management, Health Sciences, Sport and Education) competing against each other in a fiesty tournament of dodgeball. Over 60 people came along to participate in the event and the enthusiasm from all resulted in a fun-filled afternoon for everyone. Niamh Chapman - CSHS Rep – “What a great event! The enthusiasm of all teams was fantastic and a special congratulations to CSAD to winning the tournament! There are some great action shots from everyone who took part so make sure you start tagging yourself. Yesterday was SO MUCH FUN – I can’t wait to work with Campus Sport team to arrange something for term 2, hopefully outdoors. So watch this space and your school rep’s page for updates.”
Following the Dodgeball, Campus Sport hosted their Christmas Social in Zen including plenty of Free Dominos pizza, Mince Pie eating competitions and Human Christmas Tree decorating. The event was a success with plenty of food and drink flowing, so much so the Campus Sport Co-ordinators are already planning the next Social so keep your eyes peeled!
Allessandro – Campus Sport Football Coordinator – “ The party began at 19.30, once people grabbed a drink they began to get stuck into the games. The challenges were epic, mince pie eating, eggnog bobbing and more.. Pizza arrived and everyone tucked in. It was a great night to follow the Dodgeball tournament. I can’t wait until the next social in the New Year. See you there guys!”
