We are pleased to say that as a team, Cardiff Met SU raised nearly £900 throughout the month of November for Movember.
This year we participated in the campaign ‘Movember’ with the aims of signing up students and staff members to help raise awareness of the issues involved around men’s health. Alongside this we encouraged our team to fundraise for the campaign and we are pleased to say that as a team we raised nearly £900 throughout the month of November.
These contributions consisted of various individuals growing moustaches, individuals raising money as well as societies. Our Food society conducted two bake sales throughout November raising almost £100. Not forgetting that we also ran a Movember Pub Quiz in Zen Bar at Llandaff to aid this great cause.
Thanks to everyone who got involved, it really was a great effort from all. Hopefully next year it can be bigger and better. Have a great Christmas.
