We support all Cardiff Met students by offering projects to get involved with in our growing city. With our projects, we aim to increase awareness of local community issues, with you working alongside having a positive impact. It’s a real chance to meet new and like-minded people and to work alongside them on these projects. There is always something to get involved with in, whether short-term or long-term, so please call into the SU offices in Llandaff or Cyncoed to find out more.

If you would like to volunteer but don't think you have time to make a regular commitment then one-off projects could be more suited to you. In the past, we have done a beach clean and transformed a primary school outdoor area.

 

 

 

 

  • SVC Meet and Greet at NHS Vaccination Centres

    Salary:  Voluntary

    Details:To provide a welcoming presence at the entrance to the Vaccination Centre and assisting those who may feel anxious or apprehensive. To provide information, reminding visitors to maintain compliance with all Covid-19 safety measures and to undertake a screening questionnaire at the start of their visit and feedback at the end.

  • Cardiff Met Students' Union The Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative

    Details:The Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative is a student-led, non-profit tutoring initiative that was set up in March 2020 in response to school closures prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
