Going Green Together

This week several students from Cardiff Met volunteered and joined the campaign, we were very lucky with the weather when we joined SVC & Forest Cardiff Volunteer Co-Ordinator Chloe Jenkins – who was an ex Cardiff Met Student and Innovate Trust, at Tynewydd, Whitchurch.

Going Green Together aims to bring the community together on a shared vision of a safer and greener South East Wales, by connecting volunteers and adults with additional needs to work together on environmentally-friendly activities.

The volunteeers included students from The Gardening Society, Law Society, BSL and new formed Rambling Society where we all learnt about planting and the protection of trees.

“Thank you for this great opportunity and it was a marvellous event and learned a lot of things and able to get to know each other and engage. Truly amazing people and I'm very much lucky to meet you all.

Thank you very much and until we meet again soon,

Thank you,

Yours Sincerely,

Deema Pannipitiya”
