Training with Cardiff Met

Cardiff Met trampolining welcome and encourages anyone to join. We have multiple qualified coaches so we cater for all abilities, from those who have never been on a trampoline before, to those with lots of experience. The club also has links with the Cardiff Met Academy which competes in the National Competition structure.

The training sessions are as follows:

Tuesdays 8:30-10pm (NIAC)

Thursdays 8:30-10pm (NIAC)

Sundays 1-3pm (NIAC)

The training sessions are supervised by qualified coaches and several of the trampolinists have also gained coaching qualifications varying from level 1-3. This means that there should be at least one coach on each trampoline bed. You are not expected to attend every single session as we know university life can be busy!

Competing for Cardiff Met

The Cardiff Met trampolining team attends many competitions throughout the year. The club competes at several student competitions throughout the year including the SUTL league and BUCS. The competitions are open to beginners, intermediate and advanced competitors, it is up to you whether you want to compete and represent the University or just improve your ability at training but we do encourage everyone to take part in the competitions as it is a good experience and a great weekend away.

The Trampoline Club is one of the Cardiff Met Focus Sports that have been identified as a high performance club and under the guidance of the Performance Director aim to achieve the very highest standards.

Socialising at Cardiff Met

The Trampolining team enjoys socialising as we feel it benefits to gain friendship and bonds with each other throughout the year. The Cardiff Met Trampolining team welcomes all members of the club to socials and aims to cater for all. There are many socials held in Cardiff throughout the year however some of the best socials are away at competitions with various themed fancy dress nights out. We do both sober, daytime socials as well as nights out so there's always an opportunity to get involved!

Memberships Benefits

All members of the Cardiff Met trampolining club pay a membership fee which covers travel costs to competition outside of BUCS to benefit the team and training sessions throughout the year. Members will have the opportunity to participate in a sport which isn't easily accessible and become a part of and ever growing, friendly team. The team aims to help all returning students and will now provide a reduced returners membership rate.
