Dear Students of Cardiff Met,

I am excited to announce my candidacy for Student President, focusing on enhancing student engagement and building a sense of belonging for all students.

As Student President, my primary objective is establishing initiatives that foster greater engagement amongst our diverse student body. My vision is to create a campus environment that supports student growth, enhances social opportunities and promotes greater student involvement.

One of my key initiatives will be to establish a student bar on the Llandaff campus. The bar will serve as a social hub where students can connect, socialise and unwind after studying. Additionally, it will create employment opportunities for students.

In addition, I pledge to support sports and societies by providing clubs with better opportunities and incentives for students who excel in their fields. My vision is to create a dynamic and competitive environment that will motivate students to showcase their talents and make Cardiff Met proud.

Furthermore, I'm committed to reducing the cost of living crisis by lowering the costs of on-campus facilities such as accommodation, food, and transport. I understand the financial burden many of us face, and this initiative will help alleviate the financial pressure many students experience.

Finally, I'm passionate about supporting students who work hard and struggle to sleep. I will work towards installing sleeping pods to help alleviate stress and promote restful sleep. This will create a better studying environment and help students to achieve their academic goals.

I promise to work tirelessly towards achieving these goals and more. As the next Student President, I will be your voice and fight for a better campus life for all.
