Details

Principal Duties For this role include:

1. Conduct informal talks with groups of pupils to Art & Design pupils in targeted geographic areas on going to university, sharing personal experiences of Cardiff School of Art & Design and advising on the university application process, portfolio advice,student life and student finance.


2.Represent Cardiff School of Art & Design(CSAD)at HE fairs/parents evenings and school careers in targeted geographic areas.

3.Promote the Cardiff School of Art & Design at targeted HigherEducation events. Gather market intelligence at each event and collate it and report back findings andrecommendations to the Deputy Head of Unit to aid the planning process.

4. Build relationships with the Art & Design subject teachers in the target schools/colleges to facilitate the matching of Cardiff Metropolitan University’s portfolio to the school/college and the subsequent delivery of tailored advice sessions.
 

5. Develop and maintain a CSAD Schools /Colleges contact database and any related administration to include gathering and producing content for the quarterly e-newsletter for distribution to schools andcolleges in your target areas.

6. As part of the session programme, signpost groups to other prospective applicant support provided by Cardiff Metropolitan
University e.g. Visit Days, Regional events, Open Days.

7. Report on a monthly basis on the schools visited and the feedback received to the Deputy Head of Unit, making recommendations for improvements as appropriate.

8. Assist with the production of marketing materials th at promote the school to its target audiences e.g. sourcing content for printed and digital communications, coordinating filming sessions.
