On Wednesday 7th May the annual Cardiff Met SU Sports Awards returned with a spectacular celebration of this past season. We celebrated the amazing achievements of our athletes, teams, coaches, support staff and volunteers, bringing the entire SU Sport community together.
On Wednesday 7th May the annual Cardiff Met SU Sports Awards returned with a spectacular celebration of this past season. We celebrated the amazing achievements of our athletes, teams, coaches, support staff and volunteers, bringing the entire SU Sport community together.
From unforgettable Varsity moments, big team comebacks, individual breakthroughs, standout performances, coaches inspiring their teams to reach new heights, committee members going above and beyond, and off-the-pitch fundraising efforts - This event gave us a chance to thank and celebrate everyone who makes SU Sport what it is.
We also presented our partner charity, bigmoose with a £1,500 cheque on the evening. From every supporter ticket sold at this year's Varsity, we donated £1 from each sale towards this donation and we were proud to present this at the awards evening.
The evening was not only a celebration of success, but also a reflection of the #ArcherFamily at Cardiff Met. Thank you to everyone who made this year in SU Sport so special. We can’t wait to see what you all achieve next season.
