The Indian Society at Cardiff Met is a vibrant community dedicated to celebrating the diversity, heritage, and cultural richness of India. We welcome all students — whether you are from India or simply interested in Indian traditions, food, music, festivals, or languages.
Our society provides a warm and supportive space where students can connect, share experiences, and feel at home while studying away from their families. We organise a range of exciting activities throughout the year, including festival celebrations (like Diwali and Holi), cultural nights, movie screenings, food events, sports meet-ups, and language & cultural exchange sessions.
We also aim to help new students settle into university life by offering guidance, friendship, and a sense of belonging. Through collaborations with other student groups, we encourage cross-cultural learning and unity across the campus community.
