Referenda

During your time at Cardiff Metropolitan University, you may be asked to vote in a student referenda. This is when the SU goes out to all students asking them to share how they'd feel about a decision which would affect all students. 

All referendas are formatted into YES / NO questions, and we'll always provide briefs and information to help inform your decision. The SU ultimately just wants you to vote! How you vote is up to you - but remember to vote.

The outcome of a referenda will be enshrined in SU policies and behaviours for up to 3 years.

Notice

When a referenda is called, the text here will change. You'll be provided all the information about the question, the rationale for YES / NO, and also information on how to apply to be a campaign member for either side.

The notice will include the timeline of the referenda, as well as the rules of the referenda.
