The winners of this award will be a SU Course Rep, at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. The winners will have actively engaged with other students on how to enhance their degree programme, such as course content, teaching and learning resources or course community. They will have made positive contributions to meetings, ensuring the views of their cohort are represented, listened to and actioned by staff.

The winner of this award will be a SU Lead Rep, at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. The winner will have worked closely with their team of SU Course Reps to effectively represent the views of a year group or department, to bring about positive, student-led change benefitting current and future students.

Digital engagement is a key communication tool for groups and organisations. The winner of this award will have demonstrated their creativity, communicated ideas and created discussions in a digital space. Nominations for this award may include an individual student, a group of students or a social media campaign.

Many students volunteer their time for incredible organisations and causes and we would like to celebrate them! Nominations for this award should include any volunteering students have participated in and how they feel it has positively contributed to their community and personal development.

The winner(s) of this award will be an individual or group of students who have contributed to community awareness of sustainability initiatives, or demonstrated a commitment to promoting sustainability.

The winner of this award will be an individual or group who have encouraged the integration of others in the SU, University and wider community who may otherwise have been isolated for any reason. Nominations should demonstrate how individual students or student groups have gone above and beyond to be inclusive and created inclusive environments.

Our SU Societies generate fantastic activities, events and projects alone, but we love when SU Societies and University departments work collaboratively to contribute to the student experience and achieve shared objectives. Any SU Society collaboration can be nominated for this award, including trips, competitions or social media activity.

This award is to acknowledge and celebrate an individual who consistently goes above and beyond to contribute to SU Society activities and ensures that their SU Society is supported.

To be eligible for this award, the SU Society will need to have been approved and established this academic year. The society would have actively recruited members and delivered a range of activities for that enhance the student experience, showing a desire to grow and become a SU Society for years to come.

Our SU Society community is growing and we’re proud of the work SU Society Committees and SU Society members are doing to contribute to a fantastic student experience. In nominations, we would like to hear about all areas of society activity, including any fundraisers, looking out for student wellbeing, opportunities for CV-enhancing experiences and general fun!

Events and projects are an incredible way to enhance the student experience and develop different communities at the SU and Cardiff Met. Nominations for this award may include single events or longer-term projects.

This award will be given to an individual or group who has made an outstanding impact for students at Cardiff Met.
