Night Support Worker

Nightingale House is our 26 bedroom hostel for homeless families.

We are looking to recruit a night support worker who will have responsibility for ensuring the safety and security of service users during the night time, maintaining a safe environment generally and delivering these services in a way that is modern, progressive and reflects best practice.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a supported housing environment, knowledge of the issues surrounding homelessness and be competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook to an intermediate level.

The hours of work are part-time and are a shift pattern requiring no more than 17.5 hours per week.

The shift pattern is two nights per week as follows:

1 night on – 1 night off – 1 night on – 5 nights off – on a rota basis
The shifts are for 10 hours each
The days you will be working won’t be the same set days each week. They will be different days. It could fall on the weekends or any day of the week.
The hours of work are 7.00 pm to 5.00 am or 9.15pm – 7.15am.
