As a participant on this unique and amazing work opportunity, you can spend your summer break from university working at the Loews Hotels - the onsite hotels within the Universal Orlando resort in Florida. Please see below for further information on this Work and Travel program for Summer 2018:
* This is a full-time, fully paid summer placement during your summer break from university. You can also participate on this program immediately following the completion of your final year of studies.
* For the program for Summer 2018, we have positions in the following roles: Lifeguards, Pool Attendants, Food and Beverage Attendants, Food and Beverage Runners/Bussers.
* All positions are paid a wage of $9.50 per hour, and you are guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours per week. It is likely you will work anywhere between 35-45 hours per week, typically spread across 5 days. Participants are paid once every 2 weeks during the program.
* Housing is pre-arranged for the program. Participants will be placed in fully-furnished housing, located within walking distance to the Universal Orlando Resort and Loews Hotels. Participants will share with either one or two other participants on the program.
* Housing costs are yet to be confirmed for Summer 2018, however this will not exceed $150.00 per week. This is fully inclusive of bills, wi-fi, and breakfast each day. The housing locations also feature a gym and pool area, as well as laundry facilities.
* Participants on this program will receive free entry to both Universal Orlando Theme Parks, as well as SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Participants are also to entitled to great discounts across Universal and Loews merchandise, tickets and food and beverage.
* Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive an additional 30 days to travel the U.S for tourism if you wish. This is part of the J1 Visa.
To be eligible for this program for Summer 2018, you must meet the following criteria:
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Be enrolled at a U.K university full-time for the academic year 2017-2018, studying at either at Foundation or Undergraduate level
* Students can be from any course discipline
* Possess a valid passport
* Be available for the full program dates: Mid June 2018 – Mid September 2018
