Students and Staff came together on Wednesday for a brilliant cause and made Christmas cards for children who are seriously ill and likely to be spending Christmas in and out of hospital. The project was part of Postpals, a charity that was set up by teenagers who were ill themselves, who found that receiving letters in the post was one of the only things that could put a smile on their faces when bedbound and feeling isolated. The Charity does great work and is run soley by volunteers.

We all enjoyed getting creative and crafty, and learning about the children we were making the cards for. Glitter, glue and googly eyes galore meant we had some really inventive ideas and we ended up with a fantastic selection of cards for the children.

We would like to say thank you to all who volunteered for the project and helped to brighten up a child’s Christmas!
