The Cardiff Met Padel Society is a brand-new student-led initiative founded to introduce and grow the exciting sport of padel within our university community. Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, known not only for its fun and fast-paced gameplay but also for the strong social connections it creates.
As Cardiff Met currently has no padel society, our aim is to build a lasting platform for students of all abilities to get involved – whether you are completely new to the game or already a regular player. With new courts opening in the local area and partnerships developing with venues across Cardiff, this is a fantastic opportunity for students to enjoy the sport, meet new people, and be part of a growing community both on and off the court.
Our society’s vision is to establish padel as an inclusive and long-term sport at Cardiff Met, offering opportunities for recreational play, skill development, and potential competitive pathways in the future.
