Welcome to Cardiff Met Chess Society. 

***if you are new to chess or have not played in some time, feel free to come down, understanding the basics, will take you one session, and from thier on, it is down to your own playing style, we will partner you with similarly skilled players, from complete begginers, to more advanced players***

Our goal is to get as many players involved in the great game that is chess.

With more numbers, we are looking to start a social, with pub chess ( drinking is not mandetory), we want to make this a community for all genders, and skill levels. 


We have our meet times, every Tuesday from 5pm, and every Thursday from 4pm. 

Loction is P block, Llandaff Campus, in the SU communal area, just outside The SU. 

 

we look forward to meeting as many of you in person.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE CURRENT MEMBERSHIP FEE AND MAY CHANGE YEARLY.

In order to process and activate your membership, your name and student number will need to be made available to the SU and committee members of the societies you wish to join. Your details will be used to effectively manage your membership and communicate with you events, activities and relevant society information. Should you wish to have your details removed, please contact the SU on societies@cardiffmet.ac.uk

As a member of a Club, Society or Student Group you are required to comply to the SU's Communications Policy for Student Groups.
