Gaming Society

Welcome to the Cardiff Met Gaming Society! We offer a casual social gaming experience for people at any level of experience. Every Friday at 5 at Llandaff Campus(subject to change), we meet, and we have two main kinds of sessions:

  1. Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game. You may have heard its very complex. But don’t worry, you don’t need to know all the rules! Your party is led by a Dungeon Master, who will take your custom-made character through a story where you can roleplay, make decisions and roll the dice to decide the outcome of your actions.
  2.  Every other week we play social party games. Popular ones include Jackbox, Cards Against Humanity and LAN games. There will also sometimes be meets at a venue, such as the Arcade Vaults in Cardiff centre (https://thearcadevaults.org.uk/).

Joining in is simple, we have a discord server where you can talk to other members and get the information on any upcoming meets: https://discord.gg/gnGng4Z (You will need a discord account). The discord server is also a space to organise for online games and streaming. We will be hosting welcome sessions during September, and the dates are going to be set and announced there. Thank you for your consideration!
