UNFORTUNATELY THIS SOCIETY DOES NOT HAVE A STUDENT COMMITTEE LEADING THEM FOR 2023/24
THE SOCIETY WILL STILL HAVE FUNDS IN THEIR ACCOUNT AND MEMBERS WANTING AND WAITING TO JOIN TO BECOME AN ACTIVE SOCIETY AGAIN.
SHOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN RUNNING THE SOCIETY THE COMMITTEE CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
Chair / President – the chair acts as the principal officer and spokesperson for the society
Secretary – the secretary’s prime function is the administrate the running of the society.
Treasurer - the treasurer has responsibility for the financial affairs of the society.

Welcome to our Filipino Society, a small community centred around family and food. We'll be doing events such as Hotpot, Karaoke, Fiesta, Sports fest and many more!
Philippines is an Archipelago that houses more than 180 languages; it is also a place of many varying cultures, therefore you might see some Spanish, American and other south east Asian cultures blended in our traditions.
Due to our variations of blended culture anyone is welcome to join the society! As long as you love learning about our different traditions as well as share your own culture to us. You don't have to be Filipino to join. What brings us together is our love for food and karaoke, no party is complete without those.
