Cardiff Met Gymnastics Club is a mixed gender club situated on the Cyncoed campus. We normally have around 15 members of all abilities creating a welcoming, close knit team. We compete in the university gymnastics cup comps throughout the year and at BUCS.
The BUCS championships are split into Grades 1, 2 and 3 for both men and women. Grade 3 consists of a set vault and floor routine, aimed towards those who have just started gymnastics at a novice level. Grade 2 is the most popular competition, consisting of a choice of 3 apparatus for women and 4 for men, catering for a wide ability of gymnasts at a competitive standard. Finally Grade 1 is aimed at elite gymnasts who compete on all pieces to a full FIG code.
