Lacrosse - Women

The club fees are for the 2021/22 academic year. Fees are set by the club and are subject to change the following academic year.

Competing at Cardiff Met

Evolving from a Native American Game to the current game, Lacrosse is the fastest developing sport in both the UK and USA. The majority of our Women's team had not played Lacrosse before coming to Cardiff Met and now compete in the Western Conference League at BUCS. This year we are aiming to improve our standard of play and to be placed in the top three.

Training at Cardiff Met

Training comprises of two weekly sessions - one game-play orientated session and one fitness session. Current Lacrosse training for both the Men and Women is:

Tuesday - 7:30-9pm Football 2 Cyncoed Campus

Thursday - 8.30-10pm NIAC Cyncoed Campus

Social life at Cardiff Met

We are a very friendly squad, made up of a mix of all years. After BUCS matches on Wednesdays, whether we win or lose, we hold team socials often with a fancy dress theme. We are always keen to recruit new players so come on down and give it a go!
