The club fees are for the 2023/24 academic year. Fees are set by the club and are subject to change the following academic year.

Futsal has arrived at Cardiff Met!

Futsal is the FIFA recognised small sided version of football. Futsal originates from South America and is played in professional leagues across the world.

Futsal is a 5-a-side game that is played indoors, but unlike traditional 5-a-side, it is played with a heavier, leather ball to allow for closer control, this creates a quick and entertaining game which has the ability to develop new skills that you won't gain anywhere else.

Futsal is a fairly new sport to Cardiff Met, which presents the opportunity for a chance to become a part of a new, fun and upcoming society. After a succesful 1st year, we are looking to refresh the squad with new and existing talent in Cardiff Met. Unlike other societies we do not compete in the BUCS leagues and instead play in the FAW Futsal leagues, where we play against the likes of Newport and Cardiff City. The lack of the BUCS competition gives players who want to also compete in the Football BUCS teams a chance to develop their skills in this high intensity game. With new backroom staff in charge this year, we are looking to make a huge step in the development of Futsal at Cardiff Met this year. If this is something that appeals to you, wether you have played Futsal before or this is your first time stepping on the court, now is the perfect opportunity to join the team! Along side the playing side of Futsal, the society are going to be making our socials bigger and better than ever, so get your drinking hats ready!

Information about trials will be available during freshers week, and you can find us at freshers fayre.
