Hockey - Women

The club fees are for the 2023/24 academic year. Fees are set by the club and are subject to change the following academic year.

Vision: To be the recognised as a leading club and university hockey program in the United Kingdom

Purpose: To provide hockey activities and opportunities to the community and university, developing an active nation, promoting enjoyment, health and well-being, life-long connections and competition.


  • Performance: Cardiff & Met HC seeks to provide an opportunity for its members to compete and participate successfully at the highest level in men’s, women’s and junior hockey.
  • Participation: To enable participation at the optimal level for everyone, providing greater depth to support elite performance and facilitate a strong social and supporter environment. The environment is aligned with Cardiff Metropolitan University’s strategic aim of supporting regular sport and recreation participation in the community to create an active nation.

  • Performance Program: Cardiff & Met HC and Student 1st teams - supported by a multi-disciplinary performance services team. 
  • Club Programme: Inclusive of Cardiff & Met HC senior teams and student teams beneath Performance level.
  • Junior Programme: Available for players from age U8 - U18. 
  • Community Programme: An outreach programme seeking to increase access to hockey for diverse populations.

In order to process and activate your membership, your name, student number and any additional information you are required to provide to participate in your sport will need to be made available to the SU, committee members of the clubs you wish to join and external organisations where appropriate. Your details will be used to effectively manage your membership and communicate relevant club, fixture, social event information to you. Should you wish to have your details removed, you can contact SU Sport

As a member of a Club, Society or Student Group you are required to comply to the SU's Communications Policy for Student Groups.
