Get it Out for Cardiff!

GIOFC is the annual end of term waste, recycling and charity collection scheme, set up to ensure that moving out at the end of term is stress free and leaves our communities clean and tidy.

Student Volunteers Clean Beach

On 8th March 2016, 13 Cardiff Met students volunteered to clean a beach and in just one hour collected 21 bags of rubbish.

On Friday 26th February, a group of 11 students donned their wellies and descended on a farm to volunteer for the day.

Getting Creative this Christmas for a Good Cause

Students and Staff came together on Wednesday for a brilliant cause and made Christmas cards for children who are seriously ill and likely to be spending Christmas in and out of hospital.

On Friday 6th November, a group of animal loving students gave up their morning to walk some dogs for a dog rescue charity.

  • Playscheme Site Supervisor

    Salary:  £8.69 per hour

    Details:We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified/experienced Site Supervisors to plan and deliver high quality open access play schemes for children aged 8 to 12 years or 5-15 years in both Torfaen and Monmouthshire. Ideally you will have some play work / disability experience and an aptitude for organising fun activities and consider yourself to be enthusiastic and committed.
