11:00 - 16:00

NIAC - Cyncoed Campus

The Freshers’ Fayre is one of the key events on the Freshers’ Calendar! You get the chance to meet with first year and returning students attending Cardiff Met, find out about all that your Students‘ Union and the University has to offer, take a look at our societies and sports clubs, and discover the opportunities we have available for you! What would a Freshers’ Fayre be without FOOD and FREEBIES? With our popular guests as shown below, come and enjoy the diverse stalls, get some free pizza, win some prizes, get a free haircut, and have a great time!

we’ll have our own Students’ Union stall at the fayre to give you all the information you need to know about us, our societies and sports teams, representation, the opportunities that we can provide, our venues, events and more!

'get involved with sports & societies’

If you’re interested in sport whilst at uni, most of our SU Sports clubs will be there for you to sign up or ask any questions. Should you want to get involved at a less competitive level head to our SU Sport stand to see what we have to offer! Or if it’s joining an SU society that you’re interested in, pop along and speak to our societies on the day. Societies range from Drama to Open Mic to Wakeboarding! Don’t see a society you want? Why not start one yourself?!

‘did someone say free pizza?!’

The Domino’s Pizza eating competition will be held at 1:30pm & 3:30pm on the main stage.
