Salary

Candidate will begin on minimum wage with opportunities to receive bonuses from time to time upon the fulfilment of targets and record breaking sales days. Pay will be reviewed regularly based on performance and responsibility.

Frolics Café - Crew Member

Great opportunity for a student to work alongside their studies or for anyone seeking extra income on a 0-hour contract basis. We require a staff member to work one or two 4-hour shifts per week initially. Working hours may be negotiated dependant on candidate requirements and ability.

 

Job Requirements

  • Arriving early and well-prepared for shifts as scheduled
  • Completion of level 2 food hygiene training day
  • money handling and till service
  • customer service
  • food preparation
  • ensuring good presentation of customer dining area
  • maintaining high levels of cleanliness
  • willingness to rotate to different work stations
  • completion of cleaning lists
  • keeping up to date with catering legislation such as dietary requirements regarding allergies

The candidate will be welcomed into a friendly team and supported in learning their job role. The candidate will benefit from short shifts and a flexible work rota. Team building activity days, work socials and Christmas outings are enjoyed together with our team. They will have the opportunity to contribute ideas to the business and receive performance related pay rises and promotions. The most ambitious of candidates may be considered for supervisory roles with more responsibility in the future. Candidates will be required and supported to obtain a level 2 food hygiene certificate. The training day will be unpaid on the understanding that the candidate will be able to take their qualification with them if they decide to leave Frolics.

 

Candidate Requirements: -

Candidate must have a UK National Insurance number and right to work in the UK.

Candidate must have a good work ethic, punctuality, cleanliness and interpersonal skills.

 

This role does not require experience as all training will be provided, however experience in catering or customer service would be to your advantage. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent team work and be willing to support their colleagues to achieve goals together. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills are essential. Candidate must be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness to secure our 5* food hygiene rating. Honesty is an important quality as the candidate will be trusted with stock and cash handling.
