£10.00 per hour for Head BUCS Coaches
£7.50 per hour for Head League Coaches

Average 5 hours a week, training/match commitments
*subject to change and flexible working approach is required throughout the term of employment
Role Details
The role is a Head Coach of one of our Cardiff Met Netball teams; within the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) 6 positions and within the Cardiff & District League - 2 positions.
Duties and responsibility
- Attend all trials and training sessions, be on time or make adequate arrangements in advance if this is not possible
- Coordinate, plan appropriate and relevant training sessions
- Provide feedback to the team/individuals after matches and training
- Be necessarily prepared for matches; administer and support the planning and preparation of fixtures
- Attend all BUCS/League matches and ensure everything is in place before hand
- To attend all coach meetings – held quarterly throughout the year
- Abide by rules of Club/Student Union/BUCS/Cardiff & District league and display exemplary behavior and professionalism at all times.
- IT literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge and understanding of the use of social media
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- self-motivation and drive to achieve targets
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions
Head Coaches must have–
- Essential - Minimum UKCC 1 qualification in Netball
- Desirable – Umpiring qualification
- Essential – Hold UK Driver’s License

Cardiff Metropolitan University - Netball Performance Director
