Casual Part Time Bar Assistants - Cyncoed Campus - Summer Time Hours (2 positions)

This role will assist in the smooth running of the bar and maintain a high level of customer service. The majority of customers will be of students and staff of Cardiff Met but we hold functions on the weekend for members of the public and private parties. Therefore you must be flexible and adapt to suit all customers whilst keeping the bar area clean and tidy.  

Duties:

• Keep the bar operating efficiently and effectively
• To maintain a high level of customer service at all times
• To be proactive and assist in the planning of events (both student events and functions)
• Be able to adapt to a variety of customers
• To rotate and replenish stock
• Have a good knowledge of food and drink
• Ensure the bar is clean and presentable

Person spec:

Essential

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective team worker

Desirable

• Personal licence holder

• First aid certificate
• Prior serving food and drink experience
• Bar experience
• Barista experience
