Job Gateway Assessor
Salary: £16,231
Location: West Glamorgan
Hours: 30 hours a week (minimum)
Holidays: 22 days annual leave per annum, plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)

About the Gateway Assessor Roles
Our client is a progressive and dynamic employer and are offering exciting career opportunities for individuals with Customer Adviser experience. Based at Bridgend, you will provide effective, accurate and responsive bi-lingual telephone gateway assessments to clients as part of a national telephone service.
We are looking for people with experience of working in a contact centre environment, delivering telephone customer service or remote service coordination within a legal framework. Inbound calls only.
Person Specification
A background of working in an regulated work regime would be advantageous.
The principal focus of the post is to:
1. Be the initial point of contact for consumer enquiries
2. Assessment of consumer needs and direct them towards the most appropriate resolution of their problem.
3. Work in accordance with the performance and quality standards of the consumer service
Gateway Assessor Job Overview
- diagnosing the nature of the enquiry in order to refer to internal projects, other organisations or to the most appropriate source of help within its area.
- offering generalist telephone gateway assessments through the medium of Welsh and English
- signposting clients appropriately to suit their needs
- Recording information onto Petra gateway screens
The successful applicant/s should preferably have at least 1 year’s gateway assessment experience.
