Workshop support volunteer

At Artis Community we run a variety of arts, crafts, dance and choir workshops, every week, and so we are looking for ongoing volunteers to help facilitate these. They are at a variety of times, so there’ll probably one/some that you can fit around other commitments. The workshops are run for people of various ages and ability, including those with learning difficulties, children from 4+ years, and older people. Tasks will include taking registers, guiding and supporting participants through sessions, and supporting workshop leaders with other tasks as needed, working within agreed parameters of confidentiality. Skills and Experience Needed:

 Positive attitude, with good multitasking and organisational ability

Experience of working with and an awareness of the needs of learners

Excellent interpersonal skills
