SU Content Creator Intern

Role Details

• Situated within the Cardiff Met SU Cyncoed & Llandaff Offices.
• Work with the Web Designer & Communications Coordinator focussing on producing videography for social media.
• Hourly Rate – National minimum wage inclusive of holiday pay.
• 8 hours a week (flexible working approach around your studies).
• Duration – The remainder of the 2021-22 academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce quality videography for social media platforms.
• Post production and editing of all videography.
• Promote awareness of all SU activity and liaise with relevant staff.

(e.g Awareness campaigns, Reps, Officers, Events, Societies, commercial etc.)

• Ensuring uniform tone of content abiding by the brand guidelines.
• Uploading videos onto YouTube and relevant platforms.

Skills Needed

• A passionate interest in videography, social media and marketing.
• Proficient in InDesign and Premier Pro
• Taking initiative and being proactive within the role.
• Sound communication skills both written and verbal.
• Have self-determination and strong work ethic to achieve targets set.
• Flexible approach to varying work demands provided.
• Positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Graphic design, illustration, GIF and animation design (desirable).

The successful candidate must be able to provide their own videography equipment.
