UMAX at Cardiff Met SU are proud to announce that since we launched the UMAX Jobshop,  this month we have hit the milestone of advertising 1000 jobs for our students and graduates to apply for. UMAX opened in September 2012 and in a little over 3 years we have advertised an incredible amount of jobs.

Although 1000 jobs have been advertised a large percentage of these had multiple positions, giving far more students and graduates work opportunities. These roles include volunteering, internships, part time and full time opportunities.

UMAX thrives on networking and building relationships with employers, highlighting the quality of the talent we have here at Cardiff Met, and how our students and graduates can add real value to their organisations. We love nurturing the applications and interview preparations with students and graduates to give them to confidence to sell themselves.

We network with organisations from all sectors and industries, many of which reuse us for all of their recruitment.

Some of these roles are internal positions at the university, which are not only convenient but offer great employability experience for students. UMAX is looking forward to continuing good work with university departments and external organisation which is looking to hire student staff.

“It’s great to give an opportunity of hands on experience to students as part of the Jobshop as it showed them what working within the energy sector is like. We value their work within the Cymru Conference and would happily work with the students again” RenewableUK Cymru

“With regards to the process, the service is excellent, job adverts are placed very quickly and efficiently. The applicants are also to a high standard and we have managed to fill our positions with ease” Eva London

11:10am on 21 Mar 19 With respect to student life, she initiated various huge arrangements which simply made Harvard Law a more pleasant spot to be. She established free espresso and hot cocoa, and she cracking manufactured an ice skating arena. How amazing is that. My first year, the chilliness of the arena was helpless before the surrounding temperature, and as it was a warm winter, there were numerous days that the arena did not solidify. Understudies grumbled, and the reaction we got back was, a misleadingly cooled ice arena would cost between $50,000-100,000. So the grumblings subsided, in light of the fact that truly, it's difficult to legitimize that sort of cost. Be that as it may, lo and see, the following year, a misleadingly cooled ice arena! Besides, the arena changed into a volleyball court each spring. Kagan truly made the understudies' joy a need, and it appeared. https://www.bestassignmentwriters.co.uk
