Student, Rosie Eccles, narrowly missed on the European Championship title in Bulgaria the other weekend. Rosie fought hard beating Finland, Italy and Poland to make the final against Russia. Unfortunately a points decision was ruled in the Russian’s favor and Rosie was awarded the silver medal. However this is an amazing achievement for 20 year old Rosie at her first European Championships!
Rosie says:
‘I am gutted not to have come out as European Champion, especially since I have previously beat the Russian . Now I am working on becoming bigger and better, so I am ready for the World Championships in July, where I am aiming for the World Champion title. Some say I am impatient...’
