June 7th we held a wonderful celebration for our Cardiff Met Award, which honoured those students who had worked all year to enhance their life skills and push themselves forward in the jobs market.
A beautiful afternoon, our event held at City Hall Cardiff and attended by the Vice Chancellor Prof Cara Aitchison, Award students and their guests and gave an insight into the diverse mix of accomplishments, training and work experience logged along the way.
Speeches by Award winners, Wasim Reza and Emma Samuel underlined the benefit of the Students Union having a scheme which from set criteria, becomes specifically tailored to each applicant’s requirements, and gave the audience impressive impact on the development and growth pathways of all participants.
