Every year, the university’s Learning and Teaching Development Unit (LTDU), in partnership with the Higher Education Academy, surveys Postgraduate Taught Students to find out what they think about their student experience.
At Cardiff Met we highly value our postgraduate community and want to ensure our students have the best possible experience. Every year, the university’s Learning and Teaching Development Unit (LTDU), in partnership with the Higher Education Academy, surveys Postgraduate Taught Students to find out what they think about their student experience.
- The main purpose of the survey is to get a comprehensive picture of the Postgraduate Taught Experience across the whole university. We then use this information to maintain and improve the student experience at Cardiff Met.
- Based on our findings, we compile a report which forms the basis of the enhancement activities we undertake. These activities are designed to benefit not just current students but future postgraduates too.
- The survey provides an opportunity for you to highlight what you’ve found positive about your student experience and to draw attention to areas of excellence within your programme. At the same time, it also gives you the chance to underline any areas of concern. Your views count - we can only improve the Postgraduate Taught experience if you tell us what we’re doing well and where we could do better.
The results of the survey will be strictly anonymous.
What if I completed it last year?
Some students may have been asked to complete the survey last year. We will be asking you to complete the survey again as you may now be able to answer some questions more thoroughly, including the dissertation section.
As a Postgraduate Student, your time is very precious and we appreciate that there are huge demands on your time. However, we would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to complete the survey via your personal URL that will be emailed to your Cardiff Met email address.
