The SU Refreshers Fayre was a hit! A day full of fun, free goodies, and making new friends - Enjoyed by 1,167 of you!
We cannot thank you all enough for making our SU Refreshers Fayre as good as it was and we’d like to thank everyone who helped us put the event together and a big shout out to all of our commercial partners, SU Societies, SU Sport Clubs and University stalls that took part.
We’ve also got a jam-packed Refreshers week throughout, as we host the International Students Night, BUCS Wednesday, Cardiff Met Award Open House, and stalls throughout the week to show you what we have going on with our SU Societies, #NotAnExcuse campaign and the Met Award.
Coming up we have:
- BUCS Wednesday: Multiple games will be played throughout the day, so head over to @CMetSUSport to see all the fixtures (Wednesday 25th January)
- Cardiff Met Award Open House: Come and join the award today to expand your employability skills! (Wednesday25th January- 2pm to 3:30pm | Llandaff SU Meeting Room)
- Student Housing Information Event: Come along to recieve free info and guidance on letting a shared student house. (Thursday 26th January- 10am to 4pm | CSM Atrium, Llandaff Campus)
- SU Societies Tabletop Stand: SU Societies and the Cardiff Met Award information on how to get involved (Thursday 26th January - 1pm to 3pm | Centro, Cyncoed Campus)

- Planet Friendly Food: In this session we'll look at the role of plant-based foods in tackling the climate crisis, and learn some easy recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
