Introducing "Driven Women" – a brand-new society here at Cardiff Metropolitan University! 

 

Driven Women aims to empower, uplift, and support fellow students as they navigate their career paths. We understand that the journey from university to the professional world can be both exhilarating and daunting, and that's why we're coming together to create a vibrant community where we can help each other succeed.

 

This society is named Driven women, as we understand that women are underrepresented in senior roles, and we believe more support and empowerment to inspire women to reach for the stars is needed. However, this society is not just for female students, we welcome anybody from any walk of life who would like to support the empowerment of underrepresented groups. 

 

We will be holding fortnightly socials, which include events like: Pizza and planning evenings, walk and talk sessions, guest speakers, tailored careers workshops and many more...

We're here to inspire and support you in reaching for the stars and turning your career dreams into reality. In order to process and activate your membership, your name and student number will need to be made available to the SU and committee members of the societies you wish to join. Your details will be used to effectively manage your membership and communicate with you events, activities and relevant society information.
