The inaugural Students’ Union Rep Conference was held on 16th January 2018. The aim of the event was to bring staff, students and partners together to share best practice and ideas around the topic of student voice. The agenda consisted of a keynote address from Douglas Blackstock CEO of the Quality Assurance Agency, workshops delivered by student reps and Cardiff Met staff, and a group feedback session.

73 delegates attend the conference, this included; students, academic staff, professional services and managerial staff, representatives from local Students’ Union and from a Secondary School.
The Rep Conference: Student Voice Matters 2018 was a great success with positive engagement on the day and feedback from students, staff and guests.

We’d like to say a big thank you to all those who attended and contributed to this successful event. We’re pleased to announce that this will now be an annual conference and hope we can work with many more of you to develop the event further.
