Students’ Union services, the Cyncoed and Llandaff SU offices, Centro Bar and Lounge, and the SU shop will be closed for the festive period between 15th December 2023 and 4th January 2024.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from your SU!

We're excited to have a break for the holiday season and we hope that you all have a great time off and refresh ready for the next academic year.

We will be closed between 15th December 2023 - 4th January 2024. This includes our Cyncoed and Llandaff SU offices, Centro Bar and Lounge, and the SU shop.

k1 will remain open from Monday 18th December - Wednesday 20th December from 8am – 3pm.

 

Support

We know that most of you will be working on your assessments and preparing for examinations during this period. We advise that should you encounter any difficulties that may impact the quality of your work, to please follow the guideline on our website regarding extensions and mitigating circumstances applications.

If you need support over this period:

Medical Support
If you need support with your health or mental health, or if you feel at risk at any time please use the following numbers:
•    Urgent life-threatening medical attention, please call 999
•    For non-life-threatening medical attention please call 111
•    If you require urgent mental health support, please call 111 and press 2
•    For other medical issues between the hours of 9-5, please contact your GP. If you need to register with a GP in Cardiff you can do on the Campus Doctor website- www.campusdoctor.co.uk

MetCard

After Christmas, some of the main entrance doors around campus will switch back to card access only. You will need your MetCard to gain access. Contact the MetCard team if you have lost your card or have any access issues. Thank you.
